Both options have advantages and it all depends on what you want in a home.
Since we’re in a market with low inventory, purchasing a newly built house is a great solution.
That said, the newer builds often have a higher selling price because everything is brand new.
Keep in mind, the new homes tend to be located in up-and-coming, less established neighbourhoods.
An older home may have a lower selling price but might also require fixes that you may or may not be willing to tackle.
There's a lot to consider when buying property.
Whether you're buying a brand new home or a resale, having the guidance of a Realtor can help ensure you are getting the information you need to make the best decision for you.
